The first point of many blogs i read hear is that most games including Dragonica have not plot or even a story line. Dragonica Gold does have a story line. I'm still a noob in the game but from what i can gather you are trying to become strong enough to join a group of people who are going to take down the evil dragon released in the first cut scene

People who say Dragonica Gold has no story line obviously just click through the quest dialogue. From the begining of the game you are defending a town from wolves that are growing increasingly agressive. Eventualy (before lvl 10) you save the village chief's daughter from the wolves den. Somthing happens there to thicken the plot but i wont spoil the secret. You can find out in an hour or two of play. Thats a decent story in my opinion.

As for game play its a 2D side scroller with 3D elements. I really enjoy it. People who compare Maple Story to Dragonica Gold don't know what they are talking about. I will admit i enjoyed MS but Dragonica Gold blows it away in every way.

There are 4 base classes which you chose from the beggining and the turtorial is a perfect lenght and in my opinion worth doing. At level 20 each base class branches to one of two advanced classes who in turn each have one more advancement so far.

I love the way Dragonica Gold　plays. The combo counter is cool and the skills are nicely done.

My complaints of the game are a lousy upgrade system (it does not have much deept and you can not fully customise your keyboard.

One complaint i read about on this site is a blue fairly follows you around. This fairy only stays with you til level 20 and he can kinda funny if you watch his expressions. Also anyone who played Legend of zelda ocarina of time rembers the annoying fairy, this guy is not nearly as bad and that game was epic
 

My final score: 8/10 Dragonica Gold needs improvement but it is still in the early phases around the world it is definitly on the right track.

Edit: I forgot to add another cool and unique feature of the game. There are achievments you earn through game play and there are a ton of them ranging from get to lvl 10 to kill thousands of a monster and more.
